The Kite Runner, New York Time's and also a national bestseller, was the publishing of the draft by a liberal, Afghan-born American writer Khaleed Hussaini who was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1965 and later moved to U.S in 1980. He was also a physician and served in California.
In the novel, one can observe the ingenious use of words, adroit portrayals, and abrupt dialogues. The novel is somewhat about days of yore of Afghanistan, his homeland, where he talked about its culture, occasions and its folk.
Above that, the novel basically depicts the time after the Nineteen Eighties. I'm not going to discuss the actual story about the character named Amir and his half-brother, Amir's greatest admirer, and adherent, and how Amir deceives his brother in the time of need because of being a coward....well I am discussing it already:)
Instead, I am going to debate about the anxiety and agitation which I undergo while progressing through the novel. In the beginning of the novel, I thought the writer will cast light on the dark days of 1980's when Russia attacked his land, that misery, distress, destruction, deaths that recorded up-to 200,000, millions of refugees and 3 million wounded. Thousands of homes and shelters destroyed by the reckless Rusiis just to enlarge their land or whatever the cause.

Thousands of homes and shelters destroyed by the reckless Rusiis just to enlarge their land or whatever the cause.
But what really came out, when I reached the middle of the novel, I saw merely some lines or some paragraphs, at max, about the Rusiis. Although he discussed the miserable situation and destruction of Afghanistan; ragged people, bespattered orphans, destitute widows, shattered and broken buildings but.... not by Rusis, by Taliban. Taliban, who belong to his own land, when there was no one else who dare to withstand Afghani's plight, they took the fight into their own hands. Though, in rags with enfeebled armors and wretched guns. How they sacrificed themselves to their land, which is estimated up-to 75,000–90,000 killed, 75,000+ wounded by wicked Rusiis.
Then skies witnessed on the surface of the earth how the so-called greatest power of earth "soviet union" lost it's "union" and became Russia and how the Taliban converse the consequences of the war with their broken rifles in front of relentless heavy steel tanks.
Russian deserted tanks telling the story of them,
who supposed to overtake Afghanistan at no cost.
I stop reading the novel because I was unable to bear that much contradiction. Here, the writer appears to be cynic and uses prejudiced and biased approach ignoring all the positive aspects and effects of Taliban era in Afghanistan. As NYT reported after 1996, the crime rate in Afghanistan decreased drastically and law and order situation stabled astonishingly.
I just want to convey the message that we should be able to face the truth regardless of what the whole world believes and ahead of the media & politics. Most of the times truth is not that what is believed to be. Admitting the quality of your enemy is the manly way of fighting and quarrel.
I'm not saying there is no evil done by Taliban, what is wrong is wrong but what if something is right, then you should be capable and courageous enough to 'yell' it right. We should, ourselves, search for the truth in lies(as people regard it). I'm also trying, and you are welcome along the way.

Well also tell me if there is any satisfying ending of the novel. In the end, as per my convention, I want to say that this article is for conveying a positive message to positive minds trapped in media and politics.
